Britain’s Modern Rock Band Radiohead Gets Musical Makeover

The music of Britain's most successful modern rock band Radiohead gets a main makeover in Lawrence University's Radiohead Jazz Project. Radiohead songs will make their world premiere March 8-9 in a pair of concert performances by the Lawrence University Jazz Ensemble and the Lawrence University Jazz Band in Stansbury. The modern rock artists are willing to take over the new look.

Many modern band artists have recorded Radiohead songs namely pianist Brad Mehldau, saxophonist Chris Potter along with singer Jamie Cullu. A survey of the college students found that they are eagerly waiting for this modern rock band to set the stage on fire since they have grown up hearing them. The modern band artists like lead guitarist and principal arranger Johnny Greenwood claims the band draws tints from jazz.
