Pop Music Icon Dead for a Year
A year ago pop music legend Michael Jackson died at age 50. He was known by many as "The King of Pop" and so he shall remain in the heart of many fans. Of course his life was not without controversy, nor was his death. Speculation still surrounds the somewhat mysterious circumstances surrounding his death.
The biggest concern left in the wake of Jackson's demise is what will happen to his children. Many speculated that his three young children would go to the mother who signed over all rights to the children at birth. They have ended up in the home of Michael Jackson's mother however.
When asked about the children mama Jackson seemed rather dismayed about the lives her grandchildren are leading. She remarked that they have no friends and do not attend school. In the fall they are scheduled to begin attending a school near their home, hopefully this will help to ease some of the heavy burden placed on these children who had been raised by their father since birth.
